Rocks Gold features Tonka Bean Absolute to amp up its central accord with heated assistance from sultry Styrax Benzoin Resin (traditionally used in incense applications). Bush Mint and Lime Essences turn this powdery elixir into a harmonic sweet-woody fragrance with traditional warmth but modern aphrodisiac notes. Tonka Bean is a note historically used within men’s fragrances to give the scent a smoother profile. Once used as a vanilla substitute, Tonka Bean Absolute is extracted from the seeds of Dipteryx Odorata. This plant grows in Brazil, Venezuela, Nigeria, Columbia, and Guyana – the main exporters. The beans have subtle notes of Cinnamon, Cherry and Almond with a warm oriental essence. Noble. Long lasting.

Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented a new perfume genre, neither based on traditional top, middle and base notes; nor using regular perfume manufacturing techniques. Christopher adds: ‘I would estimate that 95% of perfumes today are retro in so far as they formulate using the classic 3 tiered hierachy of top, middle and base’. Hanlon’s® revolutionary process allows key base notes to be cancelled as softer notes are ironically amplified, intensely. Add to the equation botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato that have hitherto not been used in perfumery. This bizarre blending culminates in signature aromas that are more wholistic, pure and unique. His-Storical Note: Based out of Sydney and Geelong today, each fragrance is still weighed, mixed, fermented, macerated and hand filtered to carefully remove remnants of the botanicals by Christopher’s own hand.
